Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to join a diverse team that to supports assembly of Cables. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Candidates will be required to have knowledge of the tools used for cable assembly (crimpers, strippers, insertion) and the proper techniques required to use these tools.
Basic experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.
Candidate must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to develop a build strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have a High School diploma / GED with 2 years cable building and or electrical / mechanical assembly experience.
Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during the cable assembly process.
Knowledge of assembly and inspection requirements for Micro-D solder cups in cable assemblies.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior certification to IPC / WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
